ILO 2: describe the processes associated with the extraction, isolation, and characterization of natural products.

ILO 3: demonstrate basic extraction and isolation methods of natural products.

Content

Chemistry of Alkaloids, Terpenoids, Flavonoids, Steroids, and Saponins. Extraction and Isolation processes of natural products. Characterization of Natural products and fundamentals of drug discovery. Basic laboratory techniques used in the extraction and isolation of natural products.
