Society of Limnology and Water Technology
The Society of ‘Limnology and Water Technology Society’ of the Department of Limnology and Water Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences & Technology, University of referred to as “LimSo”.
The aims of the Society shall be to improve the knowledge and experience in aquatic sciences & water technology in students and the community and make opportunities to use what they learning & gain at the lecture hall and cater to ensure the development of a sustainable aquatic ecosystem for our future generations.
All students and academic members in the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences & Technology are eligible to become permanent or temporary members of the Society. Any eligible person shall become a permanent member of the Society on payment to the Society of the appropriate membership fee, the amount of which shall be determined annually by the office bearers of the Society. Temporary members can get permanent membership by participation in three activities are conducted by the Society. Students who are selected for the Limnology and Water Technology special degree program will be entitled for permanent membership.
