Learning outcome

At the end of the course students will be able to

·Define the toxicity and keywords used in toxicology.
·Numerically explain the toxicity of any substance on given aquatic organisms.
·Explain the dose-response relationships.
·Analyse toxicants in aquatic environments
·asses risk for human health and propose mitigatory measures
Theory paper: 1 1/2 hrs (85% of the total marks)
Continuous Assessment/Lab reports (15% of the total marks)
