Ms. E.G.K.Y.C. Bandara, Demonstrator in the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences & Technology ( FMST ) won the Sessions’ Best Presentation Award for her presentation; “Ability of aquatic pathogen; Vibrio campbellii to form biofilm on different abiotic surfaces” at the theme session, “Food Security, Small Scale Aquaculture & Aquatic Health Management” of the 4th International Conference on Fisheries and Aquaculture ( ICFA ), held on 24th-25th August 2017 at TajSamudra, Colombo, Sri Lanka. The oral presentation of Ms. Bandara was from her final year research project, jointly supervised by Dr. (Mrs) H.A.D. Ruwandeepika of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka and Dr. K.H.M. Ashoka Deepananda of the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture, University of Ruhuna.
